This sapphire carries a dense teal-blue color with vivid cyan flashes appearing along the step facets. Darker oceanic tones hold the center, while brighter blue reflections gather near the edges, creating a strong sense of depth within the square outline.
The Asscher cut gives the color a deliberate rhythm. Concentric facets draw the eye inward through broad bands of light and shadow, emphasizing the sapphire’s saturation rather than scattering it into fine sparkle. Its clipped corners soften the geometry just enough while preserving the architectural character of the cut.
Untreated and sourced from Antang, Nigeria, the stone retains its natural color and character.
