This sapphire carries a restrained denim blue softened by cool grey zoning. The color deepens toward one end of the crystal, then opens into paler steel-blue reflections across the center, giving the stone a naturally layered appearance.
Its Precision Emerald Cut keeps those tonal shifts clearly defined. Long step facets create broad, orderly flashes rather than scattered brilliance, allowing the parti color to remain visible from edge to edge. The clipped corners and balanced proportions give the sapphire a clean architectural presence.
Untreated and sourced from Garba Tula, Kenya, its grey-blue palette remains entirely natural.
Step cuts reveal proportion immediately. In this stone, the facet pattern was aligned to preserve the contrast between darker denim blue and softer grey sections while maintaining an open center. The result is quiet, structured, and distinctly individual.
