And sometimes we simply decide it is time to move something.

This collection brings all of those opportunities together in one place.

Natural gemstones.

Natural diamonds.

Sapphires.

Wholesale parcels.

Lower-priced individual stones.

And clearance inventory that we would rather see turned into jewelry than continue sitting in a box.

The price changed.

The stone did not.

Three Ways to Shop the Sale

Not every discounted stone gets here for the same reason.

That is why we separate the sale inventory into a few different categories.

Gemstones Under $750

Individual natural gemstones and diamonds priced under $750.

These may be smaller stones.

Less expensive varieties.

Included material.

Unusual cuts.

Or simply stones where the price happens to land below the threshold.

Lower price does not automatically mean lower interest.

Some of the strangest stones we buy are also some of the most affordable.

If you are looking for a center stone, accent gem, collector piece, gift, or something to experiment with without starting at several thousand dollars, this is usually the place to begin.

Wholesale Gemstone Parcels

Sometimes buying more stones at once creates better value.

Our wholesale parcel collection includes groups of natural gemstones and diamonds sold together as one lot.

That may mean:

Sapphire parcels.

Diamond lots.

Matched or near-matched groups.

Smalls.

Design suites.

Stones connected by color, origin, size, or cut.

These are not bags of unusable leftovers.

We group stones together when the parcel makes sense for a designer, jeweler, studio, collector, or anyone who would rather buy several pieces of usable material at once.

Less individual photography.

Less individual listing work.

Faster inventory movement.

Better value across the group.

Pretty straightforward.

Clearance Gemstones

Clearance is where we make room.

A stone may have been in inventory longer than we would like.

We may be changing the direction of the collection.

We may have newer material coming in.

Or we may simply want the stone to find a home.

The reason for the markdown does not change what the gemstone is.

If a sapphire was natural before the price was reduced, it is still the same sapphire afterward.

If the diamond had an unusual cut before clearance, the cut did not suddenly become less interesting because we lowered the price.

Sometimes a good stone simply needs a better number attached to it.

Why Do We Put Gemstones on Sale?

Natural gemstone inventory is different from selling manufactured products.

There is no warehouse full of identical replacements behind every listing.

Most of what we sell is individual material.

One stone.

One cut.

One set of dimensions.

One inclusion pattern.

When that stone sells, it is gone.

But keeping inventory moving is still important.

We are constantly sourcing new rough, receiving finished cutting work, and adding new gemstones to the site.

At some point, something has to leave.

Sales and clearance help make room for whatever comes next.

Marked Down Does Not Mean Watered Down

We do not have a separate standard for sale inventory.

We still look at:

Color.

Cut.

Origin.

Treatment.

Clarity.

Inclusions.

Dimensions.

Durability.

And whether the stone is worth offering in the first place.

Some sale stones are incredibly clean.

Some are heavily included.

Some are classic.

Some are weird.

Exactly like the rest of the site.

The difference is the price.

Sale Sapphires

Sapphires regularly appear throughout our sale categories.

Blue.

Teal.

Green.

Yellow.

Pink.

Purple.

Parti-colored.

Opalescent.

Heated.

Untreated.

From Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Montana, Tanzania, Nigeria, and other producing regions as inventory changes.

A discounted sapphire may be there because of size, inventory age, color, cut, or simply because we want to move it.

Not because it suddenly stopped being a good sapphire.

Sale Diamonds

Natural diamonds can also appear in our sale and parcel inventory.

Colorless diamonds.

Champagne and brown diamonds.

Salt and pepper material.

Antique-inspired cuts.

Rose cuts.

Mughal-style cuts.

Matched stones.

Unusual natural colors.

And other diamonds that do not necessarily fit the standard round-brilliant conversation.

A lower price can create a good opportunity for custom jewelry, particularly when the stone itself is more interesting than the category it happens to be sitting in.

Sale Colored Gemstones

You may also find:

Tanzanite.

Tourmaline.

Spinel.

Garnet.

Aquamarine.

Emerald.

Green beryl.

Opal.

Peridot.

And whatever else we currently have too much of, have had too long, or decided needs a new home.

Inventory changes.

That is the point.

For Custom Jewelry

The sale section can be a very good place to start a custom project.

A lower gemstone cost may leave more room in the budget for:

Custom metalwork.

Hand engraving.

Accent stones.

A more elaborate setting.

Or simply a better finished piece overall.

You do not need to start with the most expensive stone on the site to make something meaningful.

Find the stone that works.

Then build around it.

For Designers & Jewelers

Designers and trade clients can use the sale section in a different way.

Parcels may provide production material.

Clearance stones may become one-off client pieces.

Lower-priced stones can be useful for designs where the setting, craftsmanship, or overall composition carries more of the value.

And sometimes the sale page is simply where you find something you would never have intentionally searched for.

That happens a lot around here.

Treatment & Origin Still Matter

A markdown does not erase gemstone information.

Known treatment and origin information remains part of the individual listing.

Some stones are untreated.

Others may have accepted treatments depending on the gem variety.

Some parcels may contain mixed treatment or origin information, which should be explained on that specific parcel page.

We do not replace disclosure with the word “sale.”

You should still know what you are buying.

One-of-a-Kind Means One-of-a-Kind

The sale section has one disadvantage.

If you wait too long, someone else may buy the stone.

Most of these pieces are not replenishable products.

If a particular sapphire, diamond, spinel, or other gemstone sells, we may be able to find something similar.

We probably cannot find the exact same stone again.

That is just how natural gemstones work.

Before You Buy Clearance

Pay attention to the individual product terms.

Some clearance or final-sale merchandise may have different return conditions from regular inventory.

The gemstone listing and current store policies should always be reviewed before purchase.

We would rather answer the question first.

Why We Have a Sale Collection

Because gemstones should move.

We want them in rings.

Pendants.

Earrings.

Collections.

Jewelry studios.

Mineral cabinets.

Or sitting on somebody's desk because they liked the rock.

We do not get sentimental about keeping inventory forever.

We get sentimental about good stones.

There is a difference.

If lowering the price is what finally gets the right stone into the right hands, we are perfectly comfortable with that.

It is a good place to look for more accessible loose stones, smaller gems, unusual material, or pieces for custom jewelry.

What are wholesale gemstone parcels?

Wholesale parcels are groups of gemstones or diamonds sold together as a single lot.

They may be grouped by color, size, origin, cut, or overall design compatibility and generally provide better per-stone value than purchasing each piece individually.

What is clearance?

Clearance includes marked-down inventory that we are actively trying to move.

That may include older inventory, closeout pieces, or stones discounted to make room for new material.

Are clearance items returnable?

Return eligibility may differ for clearance and final-sale merchandise.

Is treatment still disclosed on sale gemstones?

Yes.

Known treatment information remains on the individual product listing regardless of whether the stone is full price or discounted.
